HOMECOMING WEEK AT HCA

Rebecca goes to a private school with about 500 kids from 3 years old to 12th grade. This week is Homecoming week and the elementary kids get to participate is the festivities.

TODAY IS TACKY DAY!

Some days the age difference between the girls makes it seem like they will never be as close as I wish they were, and then some things happen that just make me want to cry because they love each other so much. Last night Rebecca was working on a school project that she needed to print some pictures to complete. The picture above was one of the pictures she picked. When I put Sammy to bed she was not ready for bed time and didnt want to go down without a fight. She was doing the typical two year old thing, screaming and yelling. Rebecca heard her yelling and jumped up and took this picture to her and layed it next to her telling her that she is not alone she has Rebecca with her. As if that is not enough to make me cry listen to this! A few nights a week Sammy wakes up and comes into our bed, well last night she came in around 1:00 am to get into our bed and guess what she brought with her. She had the picture of her and Rebecca in her hand.

First Day of Third Grade 9-2-08

Rebecca is officially a third grader! WOW how the time has flown it seems like yesterday i was walking her her first ever day of school and now she just wants me to drop her off at the door. I can only imagine what high school will be like.

Stephen is a Florida State Freshman

Yesterday we took Stephen to move into the Dorm at Florida State University for his freshman year. We are VERY proud of Stephen and all of his accomplishment.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY REBECCA LYNN

Today Rebecca Lynn turned nine! It is hard to beleive that the tiny little baby I held in my arms is nine years old. It is amazing to see the tranformation of my little baby in a beautiful young lady. Rebecca absolutely amazes me she is strong, indepentant, imaginitive, funny, smart, beautiful, natural born leader and has unbeleivable faith/trust in God. The one quailty in Rebecca that I love the most is that she has the abilty to make her own fun no matter what is going on around her. Rebecca is known around her school as the Flower Child she does what she wants and does not let other kids influence her, they usually end up joining her. My wish for Rebecca is that she keeps her wonderful qualities as she grows and matures. Her faith in god is an inspiration to me.

Rebecca's birthday is tomorrow but the boys will not be able to be here so we had a small pre-birthday celebration tonight. Daddy cooked the meal f her choice and her brothers got her presents and a cake! We are lucky to have such sweet guys in our lives.
