Happy Valentines Day

Once again we had our traditional heart shape meatloaf and pink mashed potatoes for Valentines Dinner, this may be one of our favorite traditions;-)

Kennedy Space Center

On Friday Rebecca's class went on a field trip to Kennedy Space Center. We had such a great time and learned lots of interesting facts about the space program. We also got to see the space shuttle Endeavour on the lauch pad;-) It was a geat day, it was very nice to have Rebecca all to myself.

Zoo Day

Monday was teacher planning day so we had NO school! We sleep in untill nine which was a really nice treat, then we did our chores and headed of to the Zoo. Grandma got us passes to the Zoo for Christmas and this is the first chance we have had to use them! We had such a fun day and cannot wait to go back!

Sammys Field Trip

On Friday Sammy's K-3 class went on a field trip to Mr. Armidillos Backyard. The kids had a wonderful time dancing and playing games.

Back To School

So here we are in Sunny Florida freezing out butts off;-) Today was the first day back to school from Christmas break, it is nice to be back to our normal routine but it is very cold at 7:30am.

Welcome 2010

I have decided that for the New Year I was going to pay more attention to my Blog, I have gotten side tracked by Face Book. I started this to share our journey to China with our family and friends but it turned into a documentary of our family and I would like to continue so that the kids have this to look back on. So here is to good intentions:-)

HAPPY NEW YEAR

2008 is over and 2009 is here! Some people like to reflect on was has happened in the previous year but I like to look forward to the new year. It is hard to believe that another year has passed and with the New Year Stephen will turn 20, Keith will turn 18, Rebecca will Turn 10 (double digits oh my) and Sammy will be 4. This is going to be a very exciting year in just a matter of months Keith will graduate (as valedictorian) and Sammy will enter k-3, Chris and I joke with some of our favorite teachers at the school that they are not allowed to retiree until they teach Sammy. Stephen will finish his freshman year at FSU and Keith will enter his freshman year at Uf then we will truly be a house divided (Seminoles/gators). Rebecca will leave third grade behind and move on to fourth, she is growing up so fast. Chris and I will celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary in January and our sixth year together in July, wow how the time flies. In the last few months of 2008 Chris and I went through the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University that has empowered us to have better control of our finances and spending habits. I am very optimistic about 2009 I think is will be an amazing year. We are all happy and healthy, what else could you ask for.

Weekend FUN with the Piper Family

We love our weekend adventures with the Piper family. It is just so fun and easy for our families to be together because the kids love being together and keep each so busy that the parents can hang out and relax. You would think that with four kids there would be some fighting but not with these four girls. They just love each other!
